My best shot

This is the best shot I’ve ever taken. I took it 6 monts after buying my first DSLR.
It hangs on my wall in 60×90 size in canvas.
And oh yeah, I’ve got the 3rd place on Picture of the Month on National Geographic Photocommunity with this one.

A bit of a lame, not-so-original shot, but I wanted to test the difference between with or without UV-filter. No colors enhanced in this picture, only a bit of contrast and sharpening added. 50mm f1.8II = Plastique Fantastique!
Oh and today was the first time I had to recharge my batteries since I’ve started the 293days project! That’s 28 days not recharging and I did a complete shoot at the prom of Medicine! You gotta love that Batterygrip!
